To All FAST Families
This past weekend FAST hosted another great
meet. I am very proud of the athletes performance and the
volunteers that help FAST continue it's tradition of hosting great
swim meets.
We have been presented with an
opportunity. July 16-18 is the Last chance qualifier for
Summer JO's. The team that was to host this event has been
given a set back with their pool not being available. All
Teams in the Orange section with Long Course capabilities were
given the opportunity to host this meet. No other team
stepped up to host this meet. This is an important meet for
many athletes to achieve their JO cut. I have made
the decision that FAST will host this meet.
This does cause some distress on our families and I apologize for
that as FAST is hosting the following weekend the Southwest
Regional Master Championships where your help will be needed
as well.
I
appreciate every family on FAST and look forward to your support of
this decision to host this meet. Please go to the FAST web
site under meets and events look for the July 16-18 Blue Long
Course meet and sign up to volunteer at this meet.
Once again, FAST will showcase it's great
facility,hospitality,snack bar and parent volunteers who host the
best meets in Southern California.
