AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD TRAINING CERTIFICATION COURSE – (LGT)

This course prepares lifeguard candidates to recognize emergencies, respond efficiently and effectively to emergencies, and prevent drownings and other incidents. Candidates will learn lifesaving skills, including first aide and CPR. There is a skills screening on the first day of class. Candidates who successfully complete the course will receive ARC certifications for Lifeguard Training, CPR and First Aide. ATTENDANCE AT ALL SESSIONS IS MANDATORY. Participants must be 16 years of age or older by the end of the class. We have three class sessions offered.

LGT #1	April 25th-26th-27th	Friday:  6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday:  8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
LGT #2	May 17th & 18th	Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

*There is a one-hour lunch break on all Saturday and Sunday classes.

SWIM AMERICA @SWIM INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE – (SAT)

A nationally certified course that will teach candidates all levels of a ‘Learn –To-Swim' program, and training will include the teaching methods and techniques used by our nation's top swim schools and instructors. Candidates will learn water safety skills, the technical skills of swimming strokes, and progressive curriculum. There is a water skills screening on the first day of class. Candidates who successfully complete this course will receive Swim America @ Swim Instructor certification. Participants must be 16 years of age or older by the end of the class. ATTENDANCE AT ALL SESSIONS IS MANDATORY.
